Artware 

Come experience this new and exciting activity of painting your own original piece of art. Relax and have fun painting pottery with your friends and family. Choose from hundreds of items in stock - plates, mugs, bowls, children's items and more - then use our design books and stencils or ask one of our creative staff members for ideas on how to paint your item. Once it is complete we will glaze and fire your piece for pickup in about a week. We have also added mosaics, clay handbuilding and a pottery wheel to our studio. Hands Gallery 

Hands Gallery, the oldest not-for-profit craft cooperative in the region, was founded in 1975 by a group of dedicated artists. Today, with 17 juried members providing pieces ranging from pottery and basketry, jewelry and clothing, photography, leatherwork, and serigraphy, it stands as a role model for Crafts Co-ops throughout the nation.  The Looking Glass Gallery in ASU 

The Looking Glass Gallery at Appalachian State University is dedicated to providing a place for ASU students, faculty and staff to display their work. The Department of Student Programs administers the Gallery, located on the first floor of Plemmons Student Union across from the Coffee shop. The public is welcome. J&S Beaumont Pottery 

Located in the Red School House behind Mast General Store in Valle Crucis. Pottery is created on site for pottery lovers who want to take home a small remembrance of the North Carolina High Country. A variety of shapes from handmade and decorated dinnerware to functional pieces for the home, the traditional shapes are glazed in colors designed to reflect today's home fashions. The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts is the largest visual arts center in northwestern North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The UPSTAIRS GALLERY is downtown Blowing Rock's most vibrant show space for artists of substance.
