Boone's Lodgmont is effectively a cluster of small cabins and large cabins as well as various condos and motel units, collectively, 80 +/- beds with approval for party sizes of about 85 guests total (this is about as large as we like to get!). Perfect for all groups and large families, you can rent a handful of the properties or the majority of the property!
The property is located just off Hwy 105, about 3 miles west of downtown Boone on the way towards Valle Crucis and Banner Elk. So less than 5 minutes to Appalachian State for football games, ASU Graduation or Homecoming trips. 10 minutes to Hawksnest for snow tubing and ziplines (though we recommend Sky Valley Ziplines in between Boone and Blowing Rock) and about 15 minutes to Banner Elk and Sugar Ski Mountain.
From the community you can walk to a couple small restaurants, a gas station and a grocery store! There is a community OUTDOOR POOL (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day), a handful of indoor jacuzzi-hot tubs, permanent charcoal grills outside, a small jungle gym for kids and fireplaces in a lot of the units with firewood provided!
The Lodgmont is friendly to all sorts of groups though we do tend to see a lot of church groups and youth groups come through, some scout groups and motorcycle groups come each year, as well as some corporate-type retreats. The Lodgmont is friendly to all groups! This Boone Group Rental will require a security deposit for all bookings, especially larger groups.
Rates vary so inquire within and we really try to keep party sizes less than 85, more than that tends to get a little too rowdy for our taste and potentially other guests, however, you need only rent what you need. You may not need the motel out front or the large cabins or all of the various condo units - pay for only what you need and we can corner off your group to one side of the property!
Typically 2 night minimums are required except for the major holidays and the month of July where 3 night rentals are more typical. One night stays are on case-by-case basis and are preferred to be a weekday visit.
