Friday June 12, 2009, the doors to The Ridge Hotel & Lodge were opened to music, drinks and friends! The first guests arrived around noon, a large group of 75 and a handful of those that took advantage of the advertised weekend rate of $79 per night plus tax.

The hotel is centerally located between Boone NC and Blowing Rock NC, about 15 minutes from both towns less than two miles from the Bamboo Gap exit off the Blue Ridge Parkway (near Aho Road). The hotel rooms are furnished with plush king beds and comfortable sheets and pillows. Each room has a flat screen LCD high definition television with satellite television and WiFi internet is available in every room. Some rooms also have incredible mountain views and we have a limited supply of double bed rooms and suites.
The banquet space will fit 350+ people. We also have a large lecture hall that will fit 250+ people and plenty of meeting and classroom space.
