If you missed the first weekend of Art in the Park, don't worry! The Blowing Rock art showcase has one date a month until October.  These dates include June 13, July 18, August 15, September 12 and October 3 (all of which are Saturdays!).

Art in the Park began in Blowing Rock in the 1960's when artist would travel to the area to display and sell their pieces.  Now in its 47th year, Art in the Park attracts artists from all over the Eastern U.S. and features the works of 100 juried artisans in metal, fiber, watercolor and oil painting, wood, photography, basketry, jewelry, clay, glass and more.  Prices for objects, from a handmade postcard to a large piece of furniture, range from $5 to $5000.

Parking can be hard during these weekends which attracts artists and tourists from all over the coutry, so the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce provides shuttle transportation from the Tanger Outlet Shoppes and the Food Lion both of which are located on US 321.
