Raising Money for Ivory Tower Brewery

 

The High Country Beer Fest is a fundraiser for Ivory Tower Brewery, an educational brewery at ASU that is completely faculty run and student managed.

There are courses at the school on beer making, the history and science of brewing and the business side of it.

Ivory Tower Brewery will soon try to get approval from the ASU Board of Trustees on opening the brewery to selling beer. Brett Taubman, a professor at ASU who is the president of Ivory Tower Brewery, said after getting final approval, the brewery will get a production license and then sell its beer out of the Broyhill.

The brewery will have four beers—Wet Hop Pale Ale, Bald Guy Coffee Stout, Hickory Smoked Black Lager, Lavender and Blackberry Belgium Ale—at the High Country Beer Fest to taste.
