1st Floor: Game room with fireplace and sports equipment room plus 3 bedrooms, deck and hot tub. Bedroom #1 has 2 twin beds. Bedroom #2 has two twin bunks. Bedroom #3 has two trundle beds.  There are two baths with six fixtures to allow for maximum use (one shower and one tub).
2nd Floor: Kitchen, dining room and large living room with satellite TV and fireplace with full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Bedroom #4 is a King and Bedrooms #5 has 2 twin beds.
3rd Floor: 2 bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and a balcony. Bedroom #6 is a King! Bedroom #7 is a King!

Skiway Chalet was custom built in 2004 and is a well-equipped, upscale spacious Blue Ridge Rental built with the renters in mind. This Chalet offers 7 well-appointed bedrooms, available year-round and perfect for 2-3 families as it comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests. Skiway has plenty of space indoors and outdoors to roam as well as a hot tub situated slopeside overlooking the views, the creek and the slopes and a hammock to kick back and relax with a book! The look and feel of a European Ski Chalet, but all the modern conveniences one would come to expect in a luxury Blue Ridge log cabin rental.

This Western NC mountain cabin rentals features antiques, fine art, family paintings and historic collector’s items while keeping the Mountain Luxury Decor for discriminating tastes and practical service. Our kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for preparing meals or snacks for the entire group. The living room includes a large stone fireplace to keep fun and activities warm with our antique mahogany armoire containing a satellite TV and VCR with remote controls for easy use. Elegantly appointed for the finest tastes in luxury mountain living.

Pianists will enjoy the many programs built into the electronic key board antique English drop leaf mahogany table for games and overflow diners. Many book shelves hold books for all ages and interests and many types of games for all ages will be found throughout the home as you discover the beauty of our chalet.

Our chalet is huge and offers an Intercom CD system throughout, year-round hot tub, Rec Room, fireplaces, two Entertainment Centers with Surround Sound, a Children's Performing Arts Stage, books, games, HUGE summer playground (slopes) and all Club Privileges (golf, tennis, swimming, workout, summer day camp) for an additional per day or week fee.

Our mile high altitude offers scenic beauty year round. Enjoy spectacular views from master bedroom complete with lovely antique furniture, mirrored closet doors all across one wall. The balcony overlooks the ski slope and distant mountains, creek and gardens. This balcony also provides a fine spot for reading, sunning and enjoying nature. Pressed bed linens are of the finest quality.

The third floor master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, telephone, an intercom speaker and controls for music, talking, monitoring or to turn off for total privacy. Audubon prints hang over these matching chests from The Claridge House in London.

Our Bedrooms’ character is enhanced with fine durable antiques, adequate closets, luxurious beds, and plenty of pillows and blankets. This is one of the two 3rd floor large bedrooms with King bed, vaulted ceiling and fine pressed bed linens.

NOTE: The owners suite is a separate wing attached to the Chalet and occasionally a member or members of the owner's family may occupy this suite while guests are occupying the other 7 bedrooms of Skiway Chalet.

With 150 year old sculptured mahogany and beveled glass doors from Scotland in the Living Room, 125 year old Italian Walnut wood carved columns by the bar, real silver, Spode China from England, cut crystal wine goblets, and hundreds of Fine Antiques (mostly English), Marble Top Bar and cabinets, this is certainly not your typical Blue Ridge mountain cabin rentals! With no detail overlooked and no expense spared, even if you have skied all over the world, this may be the finest "ski accommodations" around, certainly the best in Western North Carolina!

Can we become Beech Club Members for the day?  YES!

Yes! Our guests are granted the guest privilege of purchasing guest BEECH CLUB MEMBERSHIPS to the exclusive Beech Mountain Club (see below), a private club with activities that include Golf, Tennis and Swimming and Beech Mountain's Children's Day Camp!

BEECH MOUNTAIN CLUB MEMBERSHIP:  You too can be an honorary (temporary) Beech Mountain Member for a day or your week’s vacation!  Guest cards and reservations are required. Notify us if guest membership cards are desired so we can authorize issuance at the Beech Mountain Club Office. Cards are $5/day or $25/week for each guest in your party and are required to use and pay for Tennis, Golf Greens and Cart Fees, Kid’s Summer Camp, Fitness Facility, Pool Facility, Clubhouse dining, babysitting, housekeeping, gourmet chef and special trips to nearby events and sites plus all the Club's many activities.
